Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader Chechnya, revealed that his aide Apty Alaudinov, the Secretary of the Security Council of Chechnya and commander of the special “Akhmat” forces, has been the target of an attempted poisoning.
Alaudinov received an envelope soaked in a toxic substance which he noticed by smell after the envelope was opened.

“Apty Aronovich [Alaudinov] took measures in time: he treated his hands and washed the nasal cavity. The general’s aides-de-camp, who were in contact with the envelope, did the same,” Kadyrov wrote in his telegram channel.
“The poisoned men were admitted to the medical unit, where serious consequences were avoided thanks to the qualified and competent actions of the chief and two medical fighters, one of whom turned out to be a professional toxicologist.”
Kadyrov did not specify where the attempted poisoning attempt took place. Judging by previous reports, Alaudinov was in Ukraine in early February. Now he is being treated at a clinic in Moscow.
Speculation is rife that the attempted poisoning is part of an ongoing power struggle among various security service factions within the Kremlin.
When Russian troops began to prepare for a full-scale war in Ukraine, several mysterious deaths of tycoons and leading businessmen associated with the oil business took place in Russia. Some of them were brutally murdered together with their spouses and minor children.
