The Pinchuk Foundation quoted Ukrainian soldiers in a mechanized brigade, located in the east, that during “normal weather conditions, each aircraft can stay in the sky for up to three hours, and the operational radius of the drone reaches 50 kilometres. These birds will perform the mission even in strong winds, up to 15 meters per second. This will allow us to receive accurate data on the location of enemy artillery, which strikes from a minimum of 15 kilometres. Quadcopters won’t help us here, complexes like ‘Furia’ are the only thing that saves us from shelling.”
According to the makers of the Furia drones, Athlon Avia, the Furia’s development began in 2014. During the course of 2014 – 2015, the brand’s signature drone was put through a battery of tests before finally being adopted by the Ukrainian military.

Drones have played a vital role in Ukraine’s successes during the current conflict. Ukraine’s use of drones technologically superior to those of Russia are credited with Ukraine being able to achieve previously inaccessible intelligence while also having new tools with which to safely assault Russian occupiers.
Aside from the current support during the Russian invasion, Pinchuk has hosted a number of international events in Ukraine that have attracted a wide variety of foreign dignitaries, including former American presidents and business leaders.
