The central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih – birthplace of President Volodymyr Zelensky – has been attacked again in an overnight Russian missile strike, injuring one person.
City mayor Oleksandr Vilkul, said three rockets hit two civilian industrial facilities, adding the buildings had “nothing to do with the military.”

“The destruction is significant,” Vilkul wrote on Telegram.
Earlier this week, 11 people were killed and 28 wounded in an overnight Russian missile strike on a residential building in Kryvyi Rih.
Overnight attacks were reported in other regions of Ukraine, with Odesa being targeted by kamikaze drones. No casualties have been reported.
Ukrinform reports that Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesman for the Odesa Regional Military Administration, wrote on Telegram: “Odesa region. According to preliminary information: 13 Shaheds attacked Odesa region.
“All of them were destroyed by the air defense forces.”
Three people were killed in Odesa in another overnight attack in the early hours of Wednesday morning, June 14.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a report: “Four Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were launched from four Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea.
“One of the missiles was intercepted, while the rest hit industrial facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Local military administrations will report on the aftermath of the attack.”
