Four people have died after Russia conducted a targeted aerial bombing on a residential area in the frontline town of Orikhiv, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Region Military Administration said on Monday morning.
The airstrike took place on Sunday afternoon while humanitarian aid was being delivered, resulting in the death of four people – three women aged 43, 45, and 47, as well as a 47-year-old man.
Additionally, eleven people sustained injuries of varying degrees and were subsequently hospitalised after receiving initial medical treatment.

The school building where the strike took place was nearly completely destroyed by the aerial bomb, and nearby residential structures and other civil infrastructure facilities were also damaged as a result of the explosion.
Rescue operations are currently underway, with experts working to determine the type of ammunition that was used in this attack on civilians.
The report states that on the morning of Monday, Russian forces conducted 36 targeted strikes on 10 peaceful settlements in the Zaporizhia region. These attacks consisted of 5 strikes from the MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) in Levadny and Novodarivka, as well as 30 shelling incidents in Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Novodanylivka, Olhivske, Chervon, and Malynivka.
Orikhiv, with a pre-war population of around 14,000 people, is in the frontline Zaporizhzhia region, which Russian leader Vladimir Putin claimed to have annexed last year despite not having full military control over it.
