Dec 1 Power, gas and water supply and wastewater disposal interrupted throughout the Mykolaiv region. Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region was hit with heavy artillery wounds one, hits a high-rise building and damages power lines. An increase in shelling in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, damaged houses, outbuildings and warehouses. There were 34 hits on civilian infrastructure in Kherson. 13 settlements in Donetsk region hit by rocket and artillery attacks.

Dec 2 S-300 missile strike on Kluhyno-Bashkyrivka, Kharkiv region injures two. Civilian infrastructure destroyed by a missile in Kupiansk. Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, struck with 40 artillery rounds, widespread damage. Missile attack on Zaporizhzhia destroyed industrial and energy infrastructure.

Dec 3 120-mm mortar and heavy artillery strikes on the Sumy region’s border areas, destroyed the warehouses of an agricultural enterprise. Four missiles strike the industrial zone in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region causing major damage. Residential buildings damaged by MLRS strikes on Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region.

Dec 4 Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, hit by MLRS fired from close to the Zaporizhzhia NPP, one killed in his house, power lines, and a gas pipeline damaged. Attacks on critical infrastructure means there is no energy supply to 507 settlements in eight regions of Ukraine. Border villages in the Sumy region, hit with artillery again, seven houses damaged. Tavriisky district of Kharkiv shelled, apartment building and a gas pipeline damaged. A resident of Hatyshche, Kharkiv region killed by shelling.

Dec 6 The Sumy region border areas were hit again, residential buildings damaged, one injured. Four missiles hit Kramatorsk, Donetsk region damaging private houses, an educational institution and an industrial zone. A man killed in his yard by a rocket strike in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region. The man was preparing food in the yard at the time of the attack. Shelling caused yet more damage in Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk region. Missiles hit infrastructure facilities and residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia.

Dec 7 Eight people killed, three wounded in Kurakhove, Donetsk region by a missile strike. Six people wounded, five houses were destroyed and 10 damaged in combined missile and Shahed attacks on Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Dec 8 Grad MLRS positioned at Zaporizhzhia NPP in preparation to shell Ukrainian positions which can’t respond. S-300 missiles fired on Kupyansk, Kharkiv region destroying an administration building. Missiles hit the Mykolaiv transportation depot, destroying several buses. Nine civilians killed and 15 wounded in missile attacks on Kurakhove, Ivanivka, and Bakhmut, Donetsk region.

Dec 9 Five killed, two wounded in the Donetsk region, four wounded in the Kharkiv region, and eight wounded in the Kherson region by missile and artillery attacks. S-300 missiles hit the village of Velyka Pysarivka, Sumy region damaging infrastructure. Nikopol struck again with enemy heavy artillery, wounding four and damaging eight apartments.

Dec 10 Cross-border artillery hit a funeral procession in the Sumy region. Missile strikes damaged a maternity department, powerlines, shops and warehouses in the city of Kherson. Shahed drone strikes damaged high-voltage grids and equipment in the Odesa region. Five settlements in Kharkiv were hit with artillery. Missiles hit a reservoir in Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region. Six injured by artillery strikes on Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. A missile strike on Velyka Pysarivka, Sumy region, causing destruction of civil infrastructure.

Dec 11 50 missile attacks on 12 communities and infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia region, several wounded, houses, critical infrastructure, roads damaged, widespread power outages. Rescuers delivering humanitarian aid to Bakhmut, Donetsk region, fired on, vehicles damaged, no casualties. MLRS fired on a maternity hospital and infrastructure objects in Kurakhove, Donetsk region, wounded two. Artillery, MLRS, tanks and mortars fired on Kherson’s residential areas killing two and injuring five.

Dec 12 Residential area of Kherson hit with MLRS and artillery, killing one and wounding four, a house and power lines damaged. MLRS strike on Hirnyk, Donetsk region, wounded eight. Nikopol hit six times MLRS and heavy artillery, infrastructure damaged

Dec 13 MLRS, S-300 missile and artillery strikes on 12 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region killed one and destroyed infrastructure and homes, and a WWII war memorial in Zhovta Krucha. Attacks injured 16 in the Donetsk region, killed one in the Zaporizhzhia region, killed three and injured 15 in the Kherson region. An ambulance was fired on in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, wounding a paramedic. Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region hit by MLRS and heavy artillery, private houses, farm buildings and power lines damaged. 38 strikes on border areas of the Sumy region, damaged homes and infrastructure.

Dec 15 Chervonohryhorivka, Nikopol and Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk region hit with Grad MLRS and heavy artillery, wounding two, damaging houses and power grids. S-300 missiles fired on the coastal zone of Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, infrastructure objects were destroyed and damaged.

Dec 16 76 missiles of various types fired on nine energy infrastructure facilities in several regions including Kyiv causing widespread power outages, one which caused the Kyiv metro to shut down. Three killed in Kryvyi Rih in an apartment block.

Dec 18 26 strikes on border areas of the Sumy region. Missiles hit a hospital in Kivsharivka, Kharkiv region injuring a paramedic. Two men killed by a landmine in Dovgenke, Kharkiv region while searching for missing livestock. Kherson region hit 54 times by artillery, MLRS, mortars, tanks and sniper fire, killing three and injuring six. Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region hit with heavy artillery wounding two and damaging private houses, and farm buildings.

Dec 19 Shahed drones attacked critical infrastructure in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities hitting several energy facilities and causing power outages. The water areas of Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region hit five times. 83 strikes on the Sumy region’s border areas with MLRS, artillery and drones damaging homes and infrastructure. Large number of strikes on the frontline between Vuhledar and Lyman, Donetsk region, killing four and injuring five and damaging private and public buildings.

Dec 20 A missile strike sets the Naftogaz facility in Kharkiv alight. Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, hit with heavy artillery, damaged a dozen private houses and commercial buildings, gas pipelines and power lines.

Dec 21 Residential areas of Chasiv Yar, Kramatorsk and Kurakhove, Donetsk region, came under fire. The hospital in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, hit by MLRS injured five. Satellite images show 8,500 new graves in the Old Crimean Cemetery in Mariupol and at least three more mass burial sites in the city. Missile strikes on seven settlements in the Kherson region kill one and injure six, electricity grids and gas pipelines damaged. Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk hit again, an 8-year-old girl was injured, 20 private houses and commercial buildings, and four power lines damaged. An energy workers’ van in Visokopillia, Kherson Region, ran over a mine, no injuries. Kherson region was shelled 71 times, one died, six injured. Nikopol hit with six times Grad rockets, damage but no injuries.

Dec 22 A Kh-59 missile intercepted over the Mykolaiv region. The towns of Kupyansk and Vovchansk, Kharkiv region struck, casualties reported. Missile strike on Stanislav, Kherson region, injured one, damaged electricity grids and gas pipelines.

Dec 23 Two killed by MLRS strikes in Kherson, residential buildings, an educational institute and critical infrastructure damaged.

Dec 24 Cross-border shelling damages power lines and civil infrastructure objects. A missile attack on Kherson killed 8 and wounded 35. The suburbs of Zaporizhzhia hit with rockets, destroying the gymnasium and damaged houses

Dec 25 Residents of occupied Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk, and Luhansk prevented from crossing through the Vasylivka checkpoint towards Zaporizhzhia. Men fit for military service removed from the queue. Missiles strike industrial areas of Kramatorsk and phosphorous shells fired on Avdiivka, both in the Donetsk region, several casualties. Areas of Kharkiv region, located near the contact line, killed and injured civilians.

Dec 26 Mass attacks using drones, S-300 and other missiles on Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions kills 11 and injures more than 60 and destroys 150 objects including a school and energy infrastructure facilities. Two border communities in Sumy region hit with mortars.

Dec 27 Frontline areas in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions hit by artillery and rocket strikes, eight injured. Artillery, mortar and small arms attacks on three border communities of the Sumy region, killing two. A missile strike hit the maternity ward of Kherson hospital and Oleshky on the left bank, one dead and five wounded. A family of eight was shot dead in occupied Makiivka, during a robbery by suspected Wagner mercenaries.

Dec 28 A the rocket attack on Kizomys, Kherson region, injured three. A 7-year-old boy and his father were injured by landmines in Buhaiivka, Kharkiv region.

Dec 29 Widescale missile and Shahed attacks struck against critical infrastructure in Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Lviv, Sumy, and Ivano-Frankivsk resulted in 12 deaths, power outages in more than 300 settlements and destruction of residential and public buildings, schools and medical facilities. There were 51 strikes on border areas of the Sumy region by artillery, drones and helicopters, killing two.

Dec 30 Sumy region was struck with almost 150 mortar, artillery and rocket “arrivals” damaging homes, a school, psychiatric institute, and powerlines. A car hit a landmine in Borschova, Kharkiv region killing the two occupants. More strikes on the Donetsk region killed four and wounded eight, destroyed shops, a boarding school, a cinema and a dormitory were damaged. A Shahed drone damaged a four-story administrative building in Holosiivskyi district, Kyiv.

Dec 31 Another large-scale by 20 missiles and drones aimed at residential areas in Kyiv killed one and injured over 20 damaged a hotel and private housing. 30 percent of the capital was without electricity. The attack included Iskander ballistic missiles. Missile debris closed stretches of the metro. Artillery fired on Naddniprianske, near Kherson damaged a school, injuring two children. An S-300 missile hit a police station in Lyman, Donetsk region injuring a policeman. Regional Children’s Hospital in Kherson extensively damaged after hits from seven missiles.

Jan 1 Rocket strike on Orikhiv, Mykolaiv region, killed one and injured nine. Over 70 missile and drone strikes against infrastructure and residential areas in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Khmelnytsky regions, killed three and injured over 40. Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region hit with heavy artillery causing damage to homes and infrastructure.

Jan 2 Another heavy artillery strike on Nikopol, damaged infrastructure.

Jan 3 One civilian killed and five wounded by artillery hits on Kurakhove, Donetsk region. A heavy artillery strike on Nikopol, killed one, damaged several residential buildings and commercial buildings, a gas pipeline, and a powerline. Two killed when a car hit a landmine in Beryslav, Kherson region. Shelling of Kurakhove, Donetsk region, killed one and injured two, damaged a high-rise building and the water pumping facility.

Jan 4 Shelling of Kurakhove, Donetsk region, damaged houses and the heating network. Heavy artillery wounded one in attack on residential areas of Nikopol. Artillery and mortars killed two women in Bakhmut, Donetsk region. S-300 missiles hit warehouses and residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia overnight.

Jan 5 Shelling of Orikhiv, Prymorske, and Stepnohirsk, Zaporizhzhia region killed two and wounded three. Shelling of Chornobayivka and Komyshany, Kherson region, killed six and wounded four, damaged houses, agricultural premises, powerlines and gas pipelines. Kherson region hit 41 times with artillery, anti-aircraft guns and mortars. Shelling of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, killed two and wounded three civilians.

Jan 6 Border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions hit with artillery. One injured, residential buildings and a hospital damaged by hits on Kurakhove and Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region again shelled the overnight.

Jan 7 Kherson region hit 39 times artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks, killing one emergency worker and injuring seven residents. Border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions again hit with artillery and cross-border heavy machine gun fire. Kupiansk, Dvorichna and Vovchansk, shelled, damaging residential and farm buildings. 3,000 workers at the Zaporizhzhia NPP forced to obtain Russian passports. Two civilians killed and seven injured by a missile and MLRS strikes in the Donetsk region.

Jan 8 The border area of Sumy region was shelled again an enterprise was destroyed. Missiles hit Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka and Bakhmut, Donetsk region, one killed, eight injured, schools, factories and infrastructure damaged. Nikopol hit again; infrastructure damaged.

Jan 9 A rocket hit a car, killing its two occupants, in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. Four border communities of Sumy region were hit with FPV drones, mortars, artillery and MLRS. Lat occupant of Novoselivske, Luhansk region killed by sniper. House destroyed by rocket strike in Kherson. Intercepted phone call confirms intentional killing and raping in Lyman, Donetsk region. Heavy shelling of Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, damages more than 50 dwellings. A massive artillery attack on Kurakhivka, Donetsk region, caused extensive damage to residential and farm buildings. Another funeral hit by artillery in Hremiach, Chernihiv region.

Jan 10 A civilian injured, homes and water supply infrastructure hit by rocket attack on Kherson. The border territories of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, hit by mortars and artillery. Three mass graves discovered in Donetsk region, most bodies have gunshot wounds and mine blast injuries. Strikes on Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region injured 15 people large number of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities damaged. Kherson hit with artillery, anti-aircraft guns, mortars and tanks, two killed, two injured. Nikopol hit again, damaged houses and cafes. The consequences are still being investigated.

Jan 11 Kurakhove and Bakhmut, Donetsk region shelled, one killed, one wounded. Children’s hospital in Kherson struck and damaged, injuring five. MLRS strike on Kharkiv, pyrotechnics warehouse burnt down. Nikopol hit again, no casualties.

Jan 12 Rockets hit Hulyaipole, Zaporizhzhia region, private and commercial buildings damaged, one died, one injured. More than a dozen towns on the front line in the Donetsk region shelled, one killed and several injured, heavy damage to public and private buildings. A missile attack on Zaporizhzhia, damage to private houses and infrastructure facilities.

Jan 13 Massively shelling of Kurakhove, Donestsk region, one person injured. Border areas of the Sumy region hit with mortars, artillery and explosive devices dropped from drones causing damage. Non-stop shelling of front line in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, six died and more than 10 injured and significant destruction. Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region hit again damage but no casualties

Jan 14 64 killed and more than 80 injured as part of another massive nationwide missile strike that destroyed a section of a nine-story apartment block in Dnipro city. Missile and Shahed drone strikes were reported in 10 regions as critical infrastructure and residential areas were targeted, resulting in widespread power outages.

Jan 15 Four communities in the Sumy region were hit by cross-border artillery strikes. Two farmers were killed by a landmine in a field in Velyka Oleksandrivka, Kherson region. Rocket and artillery strikes in the Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk regions killed five and injured four.

Jan 16 Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, overnight rocket attacks caused damage. Artillery and rocket attacks in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, killed seven and injured more than 30. The neonatal ward of Kherson’s children’s hospital was badly damaged by a missile strike.

Jan 17 Kupyansk Motor Vehicle l College, Kharkiv region, destroyed by missile strike. There are no victims. A critical infrastructure enterprise, school and hospital in Kherson severely damaged by rocket and artillery strikes. Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region hit with missile, killing one. As many as 60 buildings and objects of civil infrastructure damaged by massive bombardment of Zaporizhzhia.

Jan 18 More cross-border artillery and mortar strikes on Sumy region, injured three. Artillery attacks injured four in Kherson, six injured in Bakhmut and Orlivka in Donetsk region.

Jan 19 50 OSCE Special Monitoring Mission’s stolen and transferred to occupied areas in eastern Ukraine. Several settlements shelled in Donetsk region, three injured. Massive artillery strikes on Zaporizhzhia damaged 28 residential and commercial buildings. Nikopol hit with 30 MLRS damaging homes and infrastructure.

Jan 20 Nikopol and Marhanets were hit with heavy artillery and rockets, destroying a farm four residential buildings and power lines. S-300 missiles destroyed a school in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region. Rocket hit Kramatorsk and Bakhmut, Donetsk region killing five and injuring seven and destroying a kindergarten. 11 settlements in Kharkiv region hit with mortars, artillery and anti-aircraft guns, two nine-story buildings, 10 private houses, garages and farm buildings were damaged. An S-300 missile destroyed a boarding school in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region district. 21 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region damaged civilian infrastructure and residential buildings.

Jan 21 A child was injured by a mortar attack on the Sumy region. An artillery strike on Bakhmut, Donetsk region killed two and wounded three in a high-rise building. Attacks on Hulyaipole and Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region killed one and injured two, damaged a cinema and infrastructure. Kherson was shelled 11 times injuring four and damaged homes.

Jan 22 A school and a residential area hit in Oleshky, Kherson region, some injured. Tanks fired on Petrivka and Huryiv Kozachok, Kharkiv region killing one and damaging graves. 21 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region struck by rockets, the village of Lezhyne was hit by an S-300 missile, houses, water, gas, and power lines damaged. A dairy, canning factory and private buildings were destroyed in four settlements in the Kharkiv region. Two men were injured by a landmine in Izyum, Kharkiv region. Shelling of Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk region damaged a water pumping station, an administrative building and power lines causing power outages.

Jan 23 A civilian killed in Antonivka, Kherson region by an artillery strike. Rocket strikes on Vorozhba, Sumy region damaged a residential building, a gas pipeline, power lines and railway infrastructure. Strikes on populated areas of Zaporizhzhia region destroyed 41 buildings and injured one. Avdiivka, Donetsk region hit by artillery and MLRS cluster munitions injured more than a dozen civilians.

Jan 24 A maternity hospital, a school and a polyclinic in Kherson were damaged by a rocket. Artillery and rocket hits on residential areas of Kostyantynivka, Vuhledar, Avdiivka, Bakhmut and Iverske, Donetsk region killed three, injured 11, damaged residential buildings and started large-scale fires.

Jan 25 High-rise buildings in Avdiivka, Donetsk region repeatedly shelled and damaged. A woman killed and her home destroyed in Zaporizhzhia. Two dead and three wounded by a hit on a grocery store in Beryslav, Kherson region. 10 civilians wounded in shelling in the Donetsk region.

Jan 26 55 Russian missiles and 24 Shahed were fired at targets throughout Ukraine, 11 people were killed and 11 more injured, infrastructure and residential buildings damaged, caused widespread power outages. The church in Orikhiv, a medical facility and private houses in Huliaipole and houses in Vilniansk, all in the Zaporizhzhia region were hit by artillery strikes and Shahed drones. Two killed by shelling in Ocheretyne, Donetsk region. S-300 missiles hit a critical infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia. Settlements hit in Kherson region, three killed, nine wounded.

Jan 27 Six civilians killed and nine injured in shelling in the Donetsk region. Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region shelled for 12 hours damaging residences, businesses, gas pipelines, and powerlines.

Jan 28 Infrastructure objects, four apartment blocks and 28 houses were damaged in shelling of the Sumy region. Missile attacks on Kostiantynivka, Bakhmut, Soledar, Vuhledar, and Kurakhove, Donetsk region, killed four and injured 17, damaged seven apartment blocks, 10 houses and a hotel. An Iskander ballistic missile hit an industrial area in Zaporizhzhia.

Jan 29 Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region hit by MLRS again destroying businesses and a school. Residential neighborhoods in Kherson hit by artillery, three killed, five wounded, infrastructure, a hospital, a school, a bus station, a post office, and a bank damaged.

Jan 30 Border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions hit with mortars and artillery. An S-300 missile strike on Kharkiv killed an elderly woman and injured three.

Jan 31 A child, a man and five injured, shops, pharmacies, and other buildings damaged by bombardment in Bakhmut, Donetsk region. A church, and private houses in Oleshky, Kherson region were shelled.
