Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak hopes that the G20 Leaders’ Summit will demonstrate support for Ukraine and Ukrainian victory in the war unleashed by Russia.

“We hope that it [G20 summit] will become another platform, another meeting of international leaders, which will demonstrate the support for Ukraine, which will demonstrate the unity of the international community in support of Ukraine, in support of our victory, and the victory is clearly formulated by us: full restoration of our territorial integrity, compensation for everything the invaders did to our country, release of all our people from captivity, and the world’s return to a clear system of international security – by that we mean security guarantees for Ukraine so that this [war] could never happen again,” Yermak said at a joint briefing with United States National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As he noted, it is not yet known whether the president of the aggressor state will go to Bali, while President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has a clear position not to participate in the summit if Putin is there.

As reported, President Zelensky stated that his position remained unchanged and Ukraine would not participate in the G20 summit in Bali if Russian President Putin went there.

On November 15-16, the G20 summit is scheduled to be held in Bali, Indonesia, where the President of Ukraine was also invited. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine demands to expel Russia from G20 after Vladimir Putin acknowledged ordering missile strikes on Ukraine’s infrastructure and to revoke his invitation to G20 summit.
