Miracles do happen…
On June 24, Ukrainian TV presenter and volunteer Serhiy Prytula, together with blogger Ihor Lachenkov, launched a fundraiser asking Ukrainians to raise 450 million hryvnias (around $13 million USD) to buy three Bayraktar drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

However, in the space of three days, Ukrainians managed to collect 600 million hryvnias (around $18 million) – enough for four drones, according to Prytula.
“The task was to collect for three Bayraktars in seven days, [but] we collected for three Bayraktars in three days,” Prytula wrote on his Facebook page.
“We received funds for three, and even more to buy one extra drone,” he added.
The Turkish company Baykar Makina, which manufactures the drones, said it was touched by the solidarity shown by Ukrainians in raising the funds through the Prytula charitable foundation, and decided to donate the drones for free.
“Businessmen and ordinary people have contributed … to achieve this goal in a matter of days,” the company said on June 27 on Twitter.
Baykar said it would not accept payment for the drones, but would send the three drones to the Ukrainian front for free.
“Instead, we ask that the funds raised be used to help the people of Ukraine. We are touched by this solidarity and determination in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges,” the company said.
