To do this, they tried to join the ranks of the logistics units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the traitors are two residents of Vyshgorod district (Kyiv region), who assisted russian troops during the temporary occupation of a part of Kyiv region.
The armed men took an active part in the so-called ‘filtering’, when russians were looking for Ukrainian patriots among local residents who resisted the invaders.
The investigation also established that the agents tortured a minor boy for helping Ukrainian military identify equipment and locations of the occupiers.
After the liberation of Kyiv region, the two individuals remained in the area and continued subversive activities against our state.
One of the traitors left for a neighbouring region, where he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to collect and pass to the enemy information on movement routes and location of Western weapons. The other one wanted to be ‘called up’ to the Army from one of the territorial communities around Kyiv.

communication devices the agents used to contact russian ‘coordinators’.
The SSU investigators have notified the detainees of suspicion of treason committed under martial law.
The court has decided to keep them in custody.
The SSU is verifying the traitors’ connections to russian special services.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region under the procedural supervision of Kyiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
