Ukraine said Monday that a Russian missile strike overnight on an industrial facility in the central region of Poltava had left three dead and several more wounded.
"The Russians carried out a missile attack on the village of Gogoleve... in the Poltava region," presidential chief of staff Andriy Yermak said on social media, adding that the victims were employees of an oil facility that was hit.

ARussian missile attack also damaged residential properties in President Zelensky’s hometown of Kryvyi Rih, in central Ukraine.
"In the morning, the Russian army used tactical aircraft from the south to launch missiles at Kryvyi Rih. Two country houses were completely destroyed, and five others sustained damage," Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, said.
"Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries. We are still assessing the full extent of the damage caused," he added.
Russian forces also carried out heavy artillery attacks in the Nikopol district, particularly impacting the Marhanets and Mirov communities. A private residence in the area was also damaged.
Natalia Humenyuk, spokesperson for the Defense Forces in southern Ukraine, noted that the tactics used by the Russian forces resembled their previous attack, which had occurred just a few days earlier.
In this recent assault, aircraft performed frequent manoeuvres while approaching to the target.
