“On July 24, at 11:24, the Emergency Service received a report that a tractor blew up on an IED in a field on the outskirts of Kharkiv during agricultural work. As a result of the explosion, a tractor driver, male, born in 1982, died on the spot, while his vehicle caught fire,” the official statement reads.
The State Emergency Service noted that part of the fields, forest areas, and other land plots remain unsurveyed due to the ongoing hostilities in the region.
As reported, targets of Russian strikes include Ukraine’s agricultural lands, which testifies to Russia’s intentions to create and deepen a global food crisis.
