What we know about the participants
There is no information about the estimated number of the participants yet, but it is known that Zelensky, during a phone call with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, “invited the Norwegian side to take part in the discussion on the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.”
Also, the president talked about the next meeting in this format with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
Moreover, an invitation from Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak was received by Timothy Barrow, national Security Adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
What we know about the place and date of the event
Several hours before the announcement, Yevropeyska Pravda reported citing several independent sources that the third Zelensky Peace Formula meeting would take place in Malta in late October.
"Andriy Yermak is planning a new meeting of security and policy advisers in Malta,” said one of the sources.
Consultations in this format are intended as preparatory for a “peace summit” or a similar multilateral event which should approve the Ukrainian peace formula.
Shift in Ukrainian Attitudes Toward War Endurance as Belief in Russia’s Resources Grows
The first meeting at this level took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, in June and the second in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in August.
As Yermak reported, representatives of around 40 countries gathered in Jeddah, three times more than in Copenhagen.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated recently that Jerusalem had not denied Zelensky a visit of solidarity to Israel and that talks on the offered visit began immediately after HAMAS attacked Israel on Oct. 7.
