Targeting a ship repair plant, Russia launched Onyx sea-based missiles at the Odesa region Monday morning – damaging the shipyard and injuring two.

“Two people were injured, a man born in 1961, and a woman born in 1966, were taken to the hospital in stable condition. They have received all necessary medical care,” Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa regional military administration wrote on his Telegram channel.

Although the fire was quickly extinguished by a rescue team, still, the administrative building and equipment were damaged, Kiper said.

Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman for the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that Russia might have used ballistic missiles.

“A ballistic missile, if launched from the territory of Crimea, for example, covers a short distance and arrives in a matter of minutes. It's important to understand this,” Ignat said, speaking during the national marathon.
