During his two-day visit to Switzerland President Volodymyr Zelensky held bilateral talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Davos.
As the President’s Office reported, President Zelensky and Jens Stoltenberg discussed the situation on the battlefield: “The President [talked about] the massive Russian [bombardment] of Ukrainian cities and communities that had taken place recently. He emphasized the importance of further bolstering the Ukrainian air defense system.”

Following last week’s signing of a bilateral agreement on security cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom within the framework of the G7 Joint Declaration, adopted at the previous NATO summit in Vilnius, President Zelensky spoke about the ongoing work on similar documents with other partners.
He stated that such agreements must be signed without delay, as they will be in force until Ukraine joins NATO.
Zelensky and Stoltenberg also discussed preparations for the next NATO Summit in Washington, where Kyiv expects decisions to be made that will bring its membership in NATO closer.
Jan. 15-16, Zelensky is visiting Switzerland, where he has already held talks with Swiss officials in Bern, and today he is addressing at the World economic forum in Davos as well as having more bilateral meetings with NATO and EU leadership.
